Inspired by the profound metaphor in Surah Ibrahim (14:24), where a “good word” is compared to a tree with firm roots and expansive branches, Al-Asl seeks to nurture a deep and enduring connection with the Quran and the rich heritage of Islamic teachings.
In a spirit of shared vision and commitment, Al-Asl and Azharul Jannah have collaborated meaningfully to expand access to high-quality Islamic education. Our programs are meticulously crafted to guide students on a journey back to the foundations of Islamic wisdom. Through carefully structured courses and innovative teaching methods, we offer learners from all walks of life an opportunity to explore and appreciate the beauty and depth of Islamic knowledge.

Our mission is to reconnect learners with the roots of Islamic knowledge by providing accessible and engaging educational content, specifically through our Urdu courses developed in partnership with Azharul Jannah. Through thoughtfully designed courses and expert instruction, we aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of the Quran, Hadith, and rich Islamic literature, enabling individuals to strengthen their faith and intellectual growth.

About the Founder
Naila Firdaus, the founder of Al-Asl, is a dedicated educator and lifelong learner with a deep passion for spreading the knowledge of Deen to Urdu-speaking audiences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Project Management.
Her love for learning was nurtured from a young age, inspired by her mother, who instilled a deep appreciation for books and knowledge. Alongside her professional career, Naila pursued her passion for Islamic learning, studying Ashara Sughra under three esteemed Shuyukh and earning multiple Ijazat in various Mutoon. She is furthering her studies with a PhD in Quranic Sciences, a testament to her commitment to deepening her understanding of the Quran.
With a vision to make Islamic education more accessible, Naila established Al-Asl as a dedicated space for Urdu-speaking students who may find it challenging to learn through Arabic or English. The platform aims to cultivate a love for classical Islamic texts and various Islamic sciences, fostering a supportive environment where students can read, reflect, and grow together.
Through Al-Asl, Naila Firdaus hopes to inspire a community where knowledge is deeply rooted, and learning becomes a spiritual and intellectual enrichment journey. Her dedication to education and the Quran continues to shine through this initiative, making Al-Asl a guiding light for Urdu-speaking learners worldwide.
