About the Founder
Naila Firdaus, the founder of Al-Asl, is a dedicated educator and lifelong learner with a deep passion for spreading the knowledge of Deen to Urdu-speaking audiences. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Project Management.
Her love for learning was nurtured from a young age, inspired by her mother, who instilled a deep appreciation for books and knowledge. Alongside her professional career, Naila pursued her passion for Islamic learning, studying Ashara Sughra under three esteemed Shuyukh and earning multiple Ijazat in various Mutoon. She is furthering her studies with a PhD in Quranic Sciences, a testament to her commitment to deepening her understanding of the Quran.
With a vision to make Islamic education more accessible, Naila established Al-Asl as a dedicated space for Urdu-speaking students who may find it challenging to learn through Arabic or English. The platform aims to cultivate a love for classical Islamic texts and various Islamic sciences, fostering a supportive environment where students can read, reflect, and grow together.
Through Al-Asl, Naila Firdaus hopes to inspire a community where knowledge is deeply rooted, and learning becomes a spiritual and intellectual enrichment journey. Her dedication to education and the Quran continues to shine through this initiative, making Al-Asl a guiding light for Urdu-speaking learners worldwide.
